Nicaragua

This series spans 1985 to 1990, when I lived and worked in Central America as a photojournalist. Most of that time was spent in Nicaragua where the war between the Sandinista government and the US-backed Contras, amplified by the Cold War preoccupations of the Reagan administration, kept the story of the conflicts on the front page.
