Cuajinicualapa is a center of
Afro-Mexican culture, where the home of Matin
Laguana is the scene of many impromptu musical
evenings. One December evening, Martín along
with his friend Jorge Añorve and his son
Martín played and sang "Adios Caujinicualpa".
Cuaji is also the home of the Museo de la Tercera Raiz, a museum that chronicles the influence of African culture in Mexico. |
